This is a hand painted ornament made of white clay. I make these ornaments out of my scraps of extra clay so as not to waste any materials. I also use them to test patterns and glaze combinations for other projects I am working on. I cut the shape out and when completely bone dry, I paint the base with underglaze in three colors, blending them together. When that is dry I paint black on top and while wet, scratch out the design so it shows the blended colors underneath. Then it is fired the first time and in the second firing, it gets the clear glaze on top.
The measurements for this ornament is 3 3/4 inches tall and just under 2 inches wide.
If you buy more than one, I will package them together and refund you the difference in shipping. Any overcharge in shipping costs will be refunded after the order has been processed.
Import duties and other charges are not included in the shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
